Hazardous areas that cannot be kept safe from fire by a simple fire sprinkler surely need something more efficient and powerful in that particular moment. Water is a very good conductor of electricity and it also has the tendency to react with various chemicals. Hence using water to suppress fire in every incident is not a possibility. Today the world has found an effective replacement of water in such incidents. By using the FM 200 fire suppression system, most of the class A, B & C fires can be suppressed easily. Suppressing fire with this gas does not cause damage to the goods present in the vicinity nor does it cause any harm to the building.

Uncontrolled fire has caused more damage to the economy than wars. There are many incidents where not only goods were lost, but in the process, many lives were lost too. The toll is very high and to prevent it from rising any further, the need for fire suppression systems began to rise. In the commercial buildings where there are hundreds of people present at the same time, any break of fire can cause a terrible loss to the humans and property itself. Thus it became necessary to have something installed which would control fire or kill it as soon as it starts to become active.

The system is specially designed to monitor and control fire in the unmanned areas of a ship, a building or any other place it is installed in. owing to the massive size and limited personnel, keeping a watch on every corner isn’t a possibility. Most of the fire eruptions take place in unmanned areas and later on spread to the areas where humans are present. By the time people learn of the blaze, it has become too strong to be controlled instantly. And then, as it has become too string, controlling damage isn’t possible. At such a time the blaze becomes too strong and causes more damage than can be beard.

FM 200 is present in the form of liquefied gas in single skinned containers. It is the only way to keep it active and be able to build up enough pressure to diminish the flames. Once the gas is used, its level declines in the cylinders and it needs to be measured. Using the ultrasonic liquid level indicator, the staff can measure the level of the gas inside the cylinders and make a decision to have it refilled or to let it be used again.
